A Beautiful Service to Remember a Beautiful Woman...

Amber's funeral was SO beautiful! Her family did a wonderful job putting it together. She will be remembered ALWAYS! She touched so many lives in so many different ways.
At the funeral everyone wore some sort of red, representing her 'favorite' color. Her fiance Pat let everyone in on a little secret when he spoke at the services, her favorite color was PURPLE!! It was funny because EVERYONE there had some form of red on their clothing such as; ties, shoes, jewelry, hair accessories, coats and scarves!!
Some beautiful and funny things were said about Amber. Here are a few that I remember.

Never pick a fight with Amber....She ALWAYS won!

Amber was competitive....She ranked high in her job at Discover Card with about 3,000 employees. Pat taught Amber to fish and she caught a 5 pound bass, and he caught what he referred to as a 'minow'.

Amber's grandpa Forrest had a little green truck that Amber was totally embarassed to be caught in, so she would make him drop her off a ways away from school so no one would see her in it. She later named that truck the 'little green chat room' (I am pretty sure I got that right). She loved her grandpa Forrest and they apparently had some nice chats in that ugly old truck!

Cayden's favorite thing to do with her was play Mario Cart.

She loved dancing with her sisters and loved it when her little sister Lindsay did her hair.

She was a WONDERFUL mother.

Her and Pat met in Jr. High. He bought her a rose and was too scared to give it to her so it died in his locker. Since that day Pat was ALWAYS giving Amber roses for no reason at all. She had to ask him to stop.

Amber was ALWAYS smiling. Her family mentioned that so many times, and what a beautiful smile she had!

Amber threw up all over her grandpa Forrest in the car....she did warn him she needed to throw up first!

Amber was a strong independent woman....she owned her first home at the age of 18 and was a single mother for a few years.

These are just a few things that I remeber from the service, if any of you remember more please leave a comment. Also if you have any memories of Amber, please share through the comments as well. I am sure her family and friends would LOVE to read them!! Here are a few photos from the service.
